農藥合理應用與蟲害管理

Reasonable Application of Pesticides and Insect Vest Management

農藥是蟲害管理不可缺之重要利器，要如何合理的應用仍大家所關心，概略可分為農藥的製造與生產、農藥的販售與管理、農藥的使用者與施藥管理、農藥指導者及媒體宣導等方面之配合。蟲害管理則可從認識害蟲及管理策略著手。植物醫生屬非常專業之工作，植物醫師應具備蟲害管理之基本要求，包括害蟲診斷、對症下藥及防治策略之選擇。植物醫師之培訓包括基本訓練及臨床訓練。應整合植物保護界、農藥界、農業界與學術界退休之人力，將經驗傳承給植物醫生，以提升臨床的經驗。建議植物醫師應分級且設置獎勵辦法，有機會應赴國外研習或觀摩，以利層次的提升及技術之改善，期早日達到健康、效率、永續經營的目標。

"Pesticides are the most important instrument for pest management. The reasonable applications of pesticides, including manufacture, marketing and management of products, education of users and advertisement of media, are publicly concerned. The pest management can be initiated from the identification of insects and the strategy for control. A professional plant doctor should have the specialized accomplishments in pest diagnosis, pesticide application and control measures. Both basic and clinical trainings are necessary for educating a plant doctor. The experiences of the retired plant protectors, pesticide producers and academic professors have to be integrated that are useful for promoting the skill of a plant doctor. The rules of grades and prizes for plant doctors should be established and students go abroad for advance training should be encouraged by government to promote the practices in pesticide application and pest management. We hope the agriculture can be safety, efficiency and persistent in Taiwan."
