台灣南部數種保健植物害蟲相調查

Survey of insect pests on herbs in southern Taiwan

於台灣南部地區收集20種藥草及15種香草保健植物所設立之園圃，及至民間各地保健植物園調查保健植物害蟲相，結果所調查藥草種類中以羅勒害蟲17種，種類最多，枸杞11種次之，紫蘇10種再次之；香草種類中以香蜂草17種害蟲最多，薄荷草12種次之，到手香9種再次之。兩類植物害蟲相中以斜紋夜蛾（Spodoptera litura Fabricius）、台灣黃毒蛾（Euproctis taiwana（Shiraki））、紅后負蝗（Atractomorpha psittacina De Hann）、條紋褐蝗（Phlaeoba infumata Bruner von Wattnnwyl）及神澤氏葉蟎（Tetranychus kanzawai Kishida）發生較為普遍。

"For investigating the pests on herbs, 20 species of medicinal herbs and 15 species of aromatic herbs were collected and planted in Fengshan in southern Taiwan. Among them, 17 species of pests were found on Ocimun basilicum, the highest among medicinal herbs surveyed, followed by 11 species on Lycium chinense and 10 species on Perilla frtescens. There were 17 species of pests found on Melissa officinalis, the highest among aromatic herbs surveyed, followed by 12 species on Mentba spp. and 9 species on Plectranthus ambinicus. The most prevailing pests among these were Spodoptera litura, Euproctis taiwana, Atractomorpha psittacina, Phlaeoba infumata and Tetranychus kanzawai."
