賴和新詩的紅色美學

Crimson Aesthetics of Lai-He’s Modern Poetry

賴和相關研究評論資料已超過一千筆，然而，縱觀資料內容可以發現，相較起介紹賴和生平、論述賴和小說或漢詩的篇章，賴和新詩研究不免顯得匱乏。賴和自1922年發表〈祝南社十五週年〉以來，累積有60首新詩作品，使用色彩字的詩作約有33首，其中又以「紅色」出現頻率最高。此外，「日」、「日輪」、「日頭」等太陽相關紅色意象的使用次數多達30次，同屬於紅色意象的「血」也出現29次，顯見「紅色」之於賴和新詩有其特殊性。本文以賴和新詩的紅色意象為研究對象，通過詩作色彩字「紅」，以及紅色意象「日」、「血」的討論，探索賴和詩作色彩經營的多元性及其意涵。同時，通過這樣的探討，也進一步揭示被譽為「臺灣新文學之父」的賴和，如何走在臺灣新文學創作的前端，為後學示範色彩在詩中的作用。

"Although research related to Lai-He are immense but when it comes to new poetry, information is scarce. Since Lai-He’s publication of the first modern poetry in 1922, he has accumulated 60 poems, 33 among these uses color related word, and of these colors, red appears the most. Furthermore, red describing sun has appear 30 times, and red describing blood appears 29 times, clearly that the color red has a special significance in Lai-He’s poetry. This article studies the red imagism within poems of Lai-He, through the color and what it represents, one hopes to find multitude and meaning amongst his works. At the same time, through this research, we would like to find out how“Father of Taiwan’s New Literature”strides ahead of his time and demonstrates the use of color in poetry."
