"The study focuses on the audio-visual construction of poems in Xiang Yang’s proses and Taiwanese poems based on the cognitive neuroscience, do/see/think developmental path and dual-coding theory. Moreover, the study aims to discuss the origins, changes, possible trends of the audio-visual construction in the imaginary system and the meanings in Xiang Yang’s poems. The audio-visualized poems that Xiang Yang has constructed in his youth and his attempting to rebuild the audio-vision has developed a school of his own in parnassus. The audio-visual construction playing in human’s two hemispheres that involved in the poems has contradicted to Xiang Yang’s chosing the connection constructed by the right hemisphere instead of the left hemisphere’s. (Taylor,2009) However, the trend from left hemisphere(sense and words) to the right hemisphere(the audio-vision) has become the great difficulty to Xiang Yang as well as every poet’s; however, the key to this difficulty is what every poet and Xiang Yang have constructed -―the audio-visual base‖in their mind." |
