In 2011, the promotion of foreign aid was made all the more challenging by continued natural disasters and economic turmoil around the world, as well as growing gaps in regional development. The TaiwanICDF, Taiwan's dedicated foreign aid agency, engages in technical cooperation, lending and investment, and international human resources and humanitarian assistance operations. Drawing on Taiwan's comparative advantages, we continue to respond to partners' needs, helping them to build capacity and putting the principle of ownership into practice. |
