本文之撰寫，乃以由國立臺北師範學院（國立臺北教育大學），於2005年4月創刊的臺灣第一本新詩專業學術刊物──《當代詩學》為研究對象。經由對其發想與出版，論文類型與議題、作者與研究方向，等項目為研究內容。透過量化統計與個別分析，藉以釐清《當代詩學》在創刊迄今（2017年）的十二冊刊物與八十一篇學術論文中，其所展現的整體趨勢與具體成果，及其所寓含的時代意義和啟示。
