The study aims to examine the relationships among inhabitants’involvement, place attachment, and well-being toward the religious activity. The stratified random sampling is applied in the study. The study has issued 450 questionnaires in total, 410 returned, 386 are valid, and the effective response rate is 94.1%. The data collected were analyzed by SPSS 16.0 and AMOS 16.0. According to the results of the statistical analysis on the data, the findings were summarized as follows: (1) Involvement has a significant positive impact on place attachment. (2) Involvement has a significant positive impact on well-being.(3)Well-being has a significant positive impact on place attachment. (4) Well-being is the partial mediator of involvement and place attachment. The conclusion is that religious involvement and well-being affected place attachment. Especially, the construction of well-being is very important since well-being has both of direct and partial mediator positive impact on place attachment. |
