Since the rise of Hong Kong local consciousness in 1970s and 1980s, Hong Kong people think about their self-identity gradually and Started to caused public discussion. But Hong Kong has long-term complicated experience between colony, nationality and native. The identity of Hong Kong people has thus become complicated. Since the handover of Hong Kong in 1997, Hong Kong Society is being ''brain-washing'' constantly. In recent years, Hong Kong people have realized the problem of identity. It is noteworthy that, Hong Kong people were concerned and worried about ''Remain Unchanged for 50 Years'' starting from the ''Umbrella Revolution'' in 2014. This paper takes Chan Koonchung ''Hong Kong Trilogy'' as the main observation point with analysis fiction of metaphor. Regarding Chan Koonchung writes about the identity meaning of ''Hong Kong people'' and how did the role of identity change from the 1970s to 2000s? This research focus on history background as entry point to analysis of the three identities in 1970s, 1980s and after 2000s, and show the identity crisis of Hong Kong people is becoming more and more vague and serious. |
