Hot Air Ballooning: Development and Management in Taiwan

熱氣球可謂人類發明最早的飛行器，隨著人類文明及科技發展之演進，熱氣球亦從交通及軍事用途轉變為休閒用途。本研究目的在於針對國人較陌生的熱氣球運動做概略介紹。透過文獻蒐集與專家訪談後，本篇文章主要整理介紹下列資訊：一、熱氣球技術與運動組織發展歷史；二、熱氣球國際競賽與記分方式；三、臺灣熱氣球發展現況；四、熱氣球運動發展趨勢與商業應用價值；及五、熱氣球安全知識。最後，作者亦提出熱氣球運動在臺灣未來發展之建議與策略。

Hot air balloon may be said the first invented aircraft from human beings. Along with the evolution of human civilization and science and technology， the use of hot air balloon transfers from traffic and military purpose to leisure perspective. The aim of this study was to introduce hot air balloon to Taiwanese who are unfamiliar with the sport. By the methods of documentary review and expert interview， this article mainly organized and introduced the following information: 1. the history of development of technology and sport organization for hot air balloon; 2. ways of international competition and scoring methods of hot air balloon; 3. current development of hot air balloon in Taiwan; 4. trends and commercial values for the sport of hot air balloon; and 5. safety issues of hot air balloon. Eventually， the authors also proposed suggestions and strategies for future development of the sport of hot air balloon in Taiwan.
