This research aims to explore important factors that influence public preschool teachers to choose social media as a parent-teacher communication channel. First, a literature collection was conducted. After referring to the relevant literature, the modified Dephi method was used to obtain three facet factors: systematic, interactive, and security. After establishing the hierarchical structure, the relevant index factors of these three facets were obtained through the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and a weighting system was established. Based on the three main criteria in this study, the results show that the most significant indicator is “interactivity” followed by “systemic” and at last "safety”. In terms of twelve sub-criteria, "increasing delivery efficiency", "free registration", and "private community" are more important than other factors. This also reflects the main consideration of passing messages for communication among teachers. After the questionnaire survey, the top three most commonly used social software are "LINE", "Facebook", and "LINE Official Account". After comprehensive analysis by experts, "LINE" won, followed by "Facebook", and finally " LINE official account ". Therefore, the most suitable social software for communication between teachers and teachers is "LINE". Through the conclusion of this study, teachers are provided a reference basis for selecting software as communication between parents and teachers. |
