The implementation of lifelong learning policies depends on the practice of lifelong learning institutions. However, these institutions still face many problems. This article takes lifelong learning institutions as the research objective and constructs an internal control mechanism to solve their related problems.
The Gowin’s Vee scientific construction concept was used for this study, and through a sociology and pedagogy theoretical analysis, the framework of the internal control mechanisms of lifelong learning institutions were constructed. Using qualitative research methods, three lifelong learning institutions of different competent authorities were selected for empirical research. The results of the study showed that the internal control mechanism is represented by the existence of mutual restriction and symbiosis, and it is more applicable under three conditions: more than 13,000 US dollars of per capita income, complete lifelong learning laws and policies, and sufficiently qualified teachers. Finally, the connotation and characteristics of the five internal control mechanisms of lifelong learning institutions are put forward to provide reference for institution operation and effectively solve institutional problems. |
