中小學數學史教案開發與實作研究

Research on the Development and Implementation of Lesson Plans for the History of Mathematics in Primary and Secondary Schools

本研究主要由研究者及在職教師共同規劃開發十二年國教的數學史素材，以及進行實作。整個研究執行程序包含文件分析與文本研讀、教案發展以及教案成效評量。本研究針對數學主題，蒐集、研讀與討論相關的數學史文獻，完成托勒密定理與和角公式、最大公因數、分數與十進位制小數等中小學數學史教案獲得教師和學生的正面肯定，顯見數學史素材融入中小學數學之可行性。本研究希望能提供國內數學教育社群相關參考資訊，也可以充實數學史素材資料庫，以利各階段教師之用。

This study primarily represents a collaborative effort between researchers and in-service teachers in designing teaching activities and developing history of mathematics lesson plans for primary and secondary school students. First, we studied and analyzed relevant literature documents for 12-yearbasic education to identify available and valuable materials, The development of lesson plans was followed by a validity check, on-site teaching, and result evaluation. The research aimed to collect, discuss, and investigate the related history of mathematics literature to develop materials and resources for teaching in primary and secondary schools the following topics: Ptolemy’s theorem and trigonometric identities, the greatest common factor, fractions and decimals. The research process and results demonstrated that the developed history of mathematics materials had a positive effect on the students and also displayed the feasibility of integrating the history of mathematics into primary and secondary school mathematics teaching. We hope this study can provide valuable information to practitioners in mathematics education and enrich the database for the history of mathematics.
