The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of increasing the language expression through Bitsboard intervention program for a child with developmental delay. The participant of this study was a 3 years and 10 months child with developmental delay. The study used multiple probe design across behaviors of single-subject experimental design. The intervention program was seven weeks. The research used language expression scale as posttest. Visual analysis, C statistics, and effect size were used to analyze the data of language expression. The questionnaires and interviews were used to analyze the social validity. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The intervention of Bitsboard had the immediate effects on the language expression. 2. The intervention of Bitsboard had the maintenance effects on the language expression. 3. Parents and teachers agreed that Bitsboard intervention had positive effects for the participant's language expression. Finally, according to the results of the study, suggestion for teaching and future research were discussed. |
