Feminism advocates gender equality and promotes humanized nursing care. Southern East Asian women who married Taiwanese husbands not only face an unjust patriarchal family structure, but also culture and society oppression. This article attempts to explore role adjustment, social impact and health-related issues face by new immigrated women, from both feminism and postcolonial feminism perspectives. The suggestions in this article will hopefully assist in setting future nursing care. |
