Clinically, the most common type of arrhythmia is atrial fibrillation resulting in tachycardia,arrhythmia, congestive heart failure and systemic embolization. Besides, many studies have revealedthat the incidence rate and mortality rate of atrial fibrillation increased by ages. In terms ofimprovement of technology, the treatment of atrial fibrillation varies with different disease coursesand age. The treatment is devided into pharmaceutical and non- pharmaceutical treatments. Theradiofrequency ablation has recently applied to atrial fibrillation. In the following context, we introducethe pre-ablation and post-ablation nursing cares as well as the instruction after discharge.Wehope this care experience can provide more information for nursing applications and it can improvethe care quality for patients treated with radiofrequency ablation. |
