The objective of this project is to upgrade the degree of satisfaction on nursing personnel'swork after merging the manpower of the two departments. In order to have better operationefficiency, also, to bring down high operational costs, the hospital was forced to merge the manpowerof two departments from the wards of infants and newborn babies.In the process of merging, we found that since the operation routines of the two departmentswere not consolidated, the degree of satisfaction on nursing personnel's work was low: 32%.Thishad seriously affected the nursing quality. Through this project, we consolidated the work routinesflow and management mode. Further more, we also implemented educational training for the nursesto upgrade their professional skills, and increase the efficiency of manpower flexible application,which increased the degree of satisfaction in nursing personnel's work up to 80.3% .The rate ofprogress was 151%, while the rate of goal attaining 101%. The project efficiency is worth applyingto carry on the promotion, it can also be the reference for other departments when merged. |
