本研究是運用資料包絡法分析護理單位之管理績效,研究樣本為南部某公立醫院內26個護理單位(病房),分為內、外科病房兩組,採用投入及產出項;利用93年的業務資料,藉由Charnes,Corper,Rhodes(CCR)、Banker,Charnes,Cooper(BCC)模式進行護理單位之整體相對效率、純技術效率及規模效率分析。結果顯示:內科組有5個(36%)護理單位在整體效率及純技術效率屬相對無效率;外科組有8個(67%)護理單位在整體效率及純技術效率屬相對無效率。內科護理單位比外科護理單位相對有效率的數量較多。內科護理單位以在職教育時數影響較大;外科護理單位以成本花費及配置護理人員數為主要影響效率的原因。建議內科護理單位利用多元化的影音及數位化的教學方式進行在職教育;外科護理單位建議採用護理人員輪調制度,利用人員組合(staff-mix)的方式,提升護理單位的護理效率,分散成本。 |

Nursing units are considered essential to hospital operations, yet unit efficiency is rarely discussedin the nursing literature. Primary data were collected and assessed based on 26 nursing unitsin a Southern Taiwan medical center that was accredited in 2004. Evaluation was performed andtested according to CCR and BCC models in terms of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Thecollected data were used to determine the nursing units efficiency according to efficiency analysis.The DEA results indicated that 64% of the medical and 33% of the surgery nursing units wererelatively efficient, and the inefficiency nursing units could become efficient with adjustment in twoareas: number of full-time nurses and continuing education hours. A suggestion for the future is toadd more items regarding to service satisfaction indexes when evaluating relative efficiency. |
