The article discusses a non-small cell lung cancer patient's mental, physical and nursing problemsafter the lobectomy. According to Gordon's functional evaluation, the author detected toobservation interviews and physical assessments that the patient suffered from impaired gasexchange, acute pain, knowledge deficit, potential risk for infection and anxiety problems whilethe patient stayed in the RCU. Over the course of nursing beside the nursing support, the patientand his family scheduled recovering pulmonary rehabilitative exercise together after the surgery,not only to help the patient overcome the pressure and problems of the disease, but also establishan exercise plan for the basis of future health. |
