Introduction to the Virtual Archives System at National Archives Administration

虛擬檔案館係由網站系統、虛擬實境系統及導覽展示系統所組成，其中以網站系統為主軸，提供教育學習館、主題檔案館及兒童館等分眾需求，進而強化檔案管理人員學習專業技能的新管道，以深度主題檔案介紹，給想一探國家檔案內容者更便捷途徑，為小朋友營造一個生動、活潑認識檔案知識的介面。

The virtual archives system at National Archives Administration consists of a web site that simulates an archive house in cyberspace, a virtual reality system and a stand along exhibition kiosk at the lobby of the institution. The core functionality of the system is the web site that provides educational subjects for online learning, dedicated archival themes online exhibitions and a children version of web pages. The three parts of the system aim to satisfy the requirements of different levels of users. To enhance a channel of learning archival professional skills for keeping records, we used thematic archives to provide researchers a more convenient shortcut in detail for exploring the insight of national archives collection. Moreover, we intended to offer a vivid interface of learning archival related knowledge interface for children.
