Stain Removal Treatment Proceeded by Using Laser Technique for Paper-Based Archives Infected with Fungi

雷射處理技術為新近發展之物理除斑方法，是一種優越的文物美容術。本研究嘗試採用釹元素之雅各雷射，針對多種真菌黴害紙張進行清除試驗，以期在實際維護上提供應用之選擇，進而探求紙質檔案文物長久保存的方法。

According to the preliminary trials of treating paper stains carried out by scientists, Nd-YAG laser can remove stains more effectively than other lasers. The aim of this study is to investigate the feasibility of using Nd-YAG laser to remove moldy stains on paper. Stain removal treatment is proceeding by using laser technique for paper with fungi on it, which is prepared by artificial methods. The Nd-YAG laser can be a viable and alternative conservation medium for paper-based archives.
