英文摘要 |
In the 1980s, Helen Samule and others proposed a new appraisal concept called“document strategy〞. It has become a discussion focus in archival articles. The purpose of this new concept is to provide a solution for archivists to solve the problems they have faced. Although there are many difficult situations when archivists put it into practice, document strategy has challenged traditional archival appraisal concepts and methods. It has also caused archivists to rethink the issue of the archival appraisal theory and practice. This article first discusses the definition and characteristics of document strategy. Secondly, the author explores the relationship between document strategy and collection development on one hand, as well as document strategy and appraisal on the other hand. Finally, the implication of document strategy has been analyzed. |
