英文摘要 |
The purpose of this qualitative study was to explore the lived experience of self-care in the elderly with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Ten elderly participants were interviewed. The results showed that the lived experience of self-care in the elderly with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease could be sorted into four themes, which were practicing medical related measures, relieving symptoms, adjusting lifestyles, and adopting preventive health behaviors. The findings of this study can help us understand more fully about self-care in the chronic obstructive pulmonary diseased elders, to identify medical care needs, and those points at which nursing interventions are possible. |
