梁啟超與《新小說》的歷史想像

Historical Imagination in ''NEW NOVEL '' Journal

論文聚焦於晚清文學雜誌《新小說》的歷史想像，用民族主義理論把《新小說》所載的小說作了梳理，又與1902年前後的時局、梁啟超的思想變化和吳趼人的小說作互文對讀。論文指明了《新小說》所載小說中，有關世界歷史和革命經驗的敘述乃是對「歷史」作為工具性的借用，目的在於對歷史進行重構。在此重構的過程中，大多數作者在呼喚民族主義，召喚國民。同時，歷史想像借用民族主義情緒來眺望未來，賦予了未來以種種烏托邦圖景。這即是歷史想像的未來性所在。

This paper focuses on historical imagination in Late-Qing Journal the New Novel. With nationalism perspective, it discusses the inter-textuality between some novels, its era and the main authors' thinking. It points out the reason why the novels have narrated revolutionary experiments is the authors take”history”as instrumental means for re-writing history. In the process of reconstruction, the authors resort to nationalism and recall the national member for providing their utopia, or futural project. This is the futurity of the historical imagination in the New Novel and late-Qing novel.
