Power politics, institutions building, and future cross-strait relations: An institutionalism logical analysis

權力政治與制度主義是國際關係理論領域中兩個最為重要的理論流派，在本文中筆者從國際政治理論的分析視角出發，借助制度主義理論的分析框架，對大陸自1979年以來對台戰略的演變和轉型進行了分析，並認為大陸對台戰略正呈現出逐漸超越權力政治考量，轉向制度主義取向的總體趨勢，並在此基礎上提出了若干對策建議。

Power politics and institutionalism are the two most important theoretical approaches in the field of international relations theory. By the use of institutionalism theoretical framework, this paper analyses the mainland China's strategic planning towards the Taiwan Issue since 1979. The author pointes out that the mainland China's strategic ideology to have gradually progressed beyond the considerations of pure power politics, gradually changing to an orientation of institutionalism strategy. Building on this foundation, the author proposes some suggestions for future policy.
