Due to the trend and the environmental evolvement, choosing and introducing new technologies are a definitely problem facing for the enterprises and the organizations. But, the introduction of the new technologies usually accompanies with a lack of domain knowledge, a long running-in period, and a high risk of failure. Hence, in this paper, based on the example of the university-industry liaison project in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone platform construction of the National University of Tainan, a VoIP phone ontology complied with CMMI standards is built through following the specific goals and specific practices of CMMI and the ontology theory. In addition, combined the technology of the knowledge retrieval, storage, and management, the knowledge of constructing the VoIP ontology also can be kept for future reference materials to the organizations expected to introduce the VoIP phone. |
