To ensure food hygiene and food safety of consumers, TFDA implemented sampling measures at the border according to product risk levels. The sampling rates of failure products would gradually increase, and may reach to batch by batch inspection based on the historical data from food cloud. This study provided suggestions for adjusting border inspection utilizing big data analysis assisted with statistical and scientific risk factors. The results were able to predict future risks by looking into the historical pattern of past metal inspection records. The study concluded that: 1. Lead and cadmium were suggested to add in the inspection item list of turmeric powder. 2. Three products, ''lily'', ''scallop'' and ''pepper'', were suggested to increase the control level. |
