Yuewei Thatched Cottage Notes, a miscellany that took Ji Yun ten years to complete during his leisure time at old age, encompasses nearly twelve hundred stories collected by Ji during his time in the Chinese Capital, Hebei, Xinjiang, and other places. In addition to the stories of ghosts and foxes, one of the main themes discussed in this erudite literary work also include the Judgment of the Chinese Underword. This research begins with an introduction comprising research motivation, purpose, method, scope, previous research, and Ji Yun Biography. The second chapter is a study of ghosts and Gods in the judgment of Chinese underword. The third chapter discusses litigation concept in the judgment of Chinese underword. The fourth chapter focuses on the judicial procedure in the judgment of Chinese underword. The fifth chapter is the discussion of gender relationship in the judgment of Chinese underword. Finally, the sixth chapter concludes the research based on the preceding five chapters.
