National economy and business operation are highly globalized. The impact of talent mobility has become a significant challenge for Taiwan - a small island located in East Asia. Therefore, it is competitive for international corporations to recruit talented people who possess global mobility. This study takes qualitative research method and uses in-depth interviews as the main tool. The interviewees are university students who have participated in overseas internships. This research explores whether students’ awareness and capacity of global mobility have been improved and enhanced after taking internship in Taiwanese businesses in Southeast Asia. It is expected that the students’ experience can be a valuable feedback to the university and faculty members can make a connection to the courses or activities on campus. Positive feedback can be the incentive for further promotion and negative feedback can be the source for further improvement. It is expected that our young people have strength and capacity of global mobility and ultimately have competitive advantages in their career development.
