The EEWH of Taiwan’s Green Building Assessment System began in 1999 and has had excellent results in Taiwan in the long term. However, some factories in Southeast Asia countries express their wish to apply and obtain the Green Building label of Taiwan, and to help them to save energy consumption, to reduce carbon emission, as well as to raise the image of the enterprises, and promote their international competitiveness. This shows that EEWH has been widely recognized by the industry, also reflects the urgency of the system should be applicable to foreign countries. The EEWH-OS evaluation method follows the assessment structure of the EEWH-BC. We also introduced the "Local Baseline Assessment Method", by which local climates, regulations and design practices are incorporated into the inaugural "Green Building Evaluation Manual-Overseas Version" (EEWH-OS). This sixth member of the EEWH Family enables application on overseas buildings. At the same time, the EEWH system will now be promoted internationally in accordance with the ABRI’s "Administrative Guidelines of Applying for Approval of Overseas Green Building Label". This study completed the establishment of EEWH-OS in 2017 and passed a foreign case in the same year. The first one Diamond-level of RN had been applied by a factory from Thailand in 2017. This case uses "carbon reduction benefits". It is mainly for the improvement of the air-conditioning system. Full use of negative pressure fans and curtains to replace the existing air-conditioning system. It can ultimately reduce carbon emissions by 76.26%.
