Internationally speaking, it is important for universities that have architectural courses to instruct students adequately in the planning and design of Zero Energy Buildings. For that purpose, students must acquire not only knowledge and skills for conserving energy and natural resources, but it is also important that they also acquire comprehensive knowledge from the architectural, structural and environmental aspects necessary from the designing and planning stages of a building. At the same time, students must also experience for themselves the results and effects of the skills and knowledge of architecture environment design. For such an experience, it is necessary to plan and develop an educational way for students to acquire the necessary knowledge to become effective skilled in their profession. Considering such a background, the authors have designed a College of Architecture and Environmental Design for such an educational practice For actualizing such education, learning materials and devices have been comprehensively incorporated into the plan, design and building for the college from architectural, structural and environmental aspects. The concept of the construction and plan design as well as the performance evaluation of the environmental equipment technology introduced into this building will be discussed in this report. Furthermore, the effects of the realization of a Zero Energy Building and its influence environment education will also be introduced.
