本文是關於絡德睦教授著《法律東方主義》中譯本所作的一篇書評。原書作者期待以此書促進關於法律東方主義集體聯動的交流，本文可以視作中國的法律史學者參與交流的初始嘗試的一個部分。本書評的側重點在於如何理解法律東方主義的分期、概念化反思以及對於無法狀態的解讀，由此以“中國為中心”參與對法律東方主義的對話。

This is a book review on Teemu Ruskola’s Legal Orientalism. In its preface to Chinese readers, Ruskola hopes it to promote collective conversation on this subject matter. This article is part of the effort for Chinese legal historians to respond and start the conversation. This article has a “Chinacentered” focus on the periodization and reconceptualization of legal orientalism, and Chinese insights on lawlessness.
