School education has many success indicators, self-concept is to enhance students learning achievement in school principal results of variables or indicators. In education contexts, individuals use the performances of others to evaluate their own competence. The big-fish-little-pond effect (BFLPE) in education settings, self-concept is positively predicted by one’s achievement but negatively predicted by the average achievement of others in one’s school or class. BFLPE assumptions in academic domain to be quite consistent support in the field of sports has also been preliminary verification, in practical application, also transfer some meaningful information. In sport situation we hope that the students have a good self-concept, to promote the positive achievements behavior. Finally, the literary provided some implications for physical education teachers and athletic class teachers/coaches possible ways and future work direction. |
