This study aims to explore the sources and strategies which the elementary school principals use to obtain the funds resources, and then enhance the elementary school principals’ related knowledge and make up the inadequacy of the related literature through literature research and case study. At the research procedure, the first step is to establish the preliminary theoretical connotation through literature research, and the second step is to do the qualitative case study by the school which wins 2010 InnoSchool Premium Award. Below are the results of this research:
Firstly, there are three ways for elementary school Principals to obtain the funds resources - including “the subvention from the government”, “the revenue from the school itself” as well as “the funds collected from outward”.
Secondly, the workable strategies which the elementary school principals can use to obtain the funds resources include: (1) valuing the concept of innovation and competition to create a new subject, and new value to help obtaining the funds resources; (2) injecting the originality from outward actively, and obtaining the funds resources by the open innovation; (3) paying great attention to the strategy alliance and the resources integration; (4) making good use of the information technology to obtain the funds resources; (5) making the commissioners think highly of the school; (6) setting up the points , and combining with the school characteristic and the development target; (7) obtaining the funds resources by multi-ways and the specialized assistance; (8) making good use of the interpersonal networks and grasping the important sponsors; (9) grasping the opportunity, making good use of the strategy- subscription, and planning proper activities; as well as (10) valuing a detailed plan in advance and having a sufficient communication.
This research also shows the related suggestions based on the research results to be the reference for elementary principals and Ministry of Education.
