The purpose of this study is to explore the 94 journal articles and 333 text structures in the National Palace Museum Monthly of Chinese Art published from April, 2018 to March, 2019. Via the Content Analysis Method, research themes, authorship characteristics and text structure of the articles are analyzed. The results of the study reveal that the research themes with the highest rate are the ''painting and calligraphy'', ''Antique relics'' and ''History''. The articles about ''painting and calligraphy'' and ''Antique relics'' have their own information. History articles also could include discussion for ''painting and calligraphy'', and ''Antique relics''. Most of the articles are contributed by staff of National Palace Museum. Others are contributed by non National Palace Museum staff. The others are contributed by coauthor. Prolific authors often write articles in the same research themes. Regarding text structures, topic with different things comprises 69.9% and longitudinal structure accounts for 24.9%. This study recommends that contributors could combine ''painting and calligraphy'', ''Antique relics'' and ''history'' in their article writing so that the text content would be enriched. Contributors could also refer to text structure in the National Palace Museum Monthly of Chinese Art. |
