從台灣文化發展論我國國家圖書館的文化功能

A Study on Cultural Functions of the National Central Library, R.O.C.: Viewpoints from Taiwan's Cultural Development

近年來我國政治生態丕變，自從政黨輪替之後，台灣認同問題、以及台灣文化與中華文化關係成為社會政治與學術研究的熱門課題。本論文試從台灣文化發展角度來探討我國國家圖書館的文化功能，首先從發展歷程探討台灣文化的意義與內涵；其次研究國家圖書館的文化功能；其次陳述我國國家圖書館的歷史發展；最後從我國國家圖書館功能、文化典藏、文化傳播與文化研究四方面，檢視我國國家圖書館對於台灣文化發展的價值，並總結提出建議。

With the transformation of the political environment in Taiwan, the recognition of local culture and history has been increasingly stressed. This paper mainly discusses the cultural functions of the National Central Library of R.O.C. from the perspective of cultural development in Taiwan. Historical method is used to explore the roles and missions of National Central Library during the past seventy years. The cultural functions of National Central Library include cultural collection, cultural distribution, and cultural research. In conclusion, this study claims that the cultural functions of National Central Library should be based both on the Chinese culture and on the local culture of Taiwan for future development.
