Since the Cold War Era, the so-called ''triangle structure'' has been one of the crucial framework for scholars to observe the international relations, and it is really helpful for us to collect, formulate, and even preview the future about the relations among nations. However, because two new variables (nuclear deterrence and globalization) have been more and more important since the late period of Cold War Era, then we must change the traditional approach simultaneously from the pure realism and power politics. Nuclear deterrence should prompt the decision-makers more rational when they shared their foreign policy, and globalization did not only rise the level of interdependence, but offer a lot of opportunities for international cooperation. To sum up, they have strengthened the stability of the triangle structure apparently. In this paper, we will try to observe and realize the similar development I the East Asia. |
