International Cooperation(2019)

In keeping with Taiwan's New Southbound policy, NARLabs established its first overseas office in the National Science and Technology Development Agency's Thailand Science Park in 2019. The unveiling ceremony for the NARLabs Bangkok Office was held in March 2019 in the presence of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand representative Tung Chen-yuan, followed by a series of conferences and networking activities. In response to major social issues such as food safety and medical treatment, this office will be focused on collaborations in smart agriculture, biomedical technology and information and communication technology. We sincerely hope this new office will bring us closer to domestic demands, create an international platform for industry-academia-research networking, facilitate research collaboration in advanced applied technologies and allow Taiwan to develop its presence in Thailand as well as other New Southbound countries.
