Life education is a process to understand the nature, value and perfect of life. In this explorative study, a development stage model will be proposed by the integration with Living System Theory and system development method. Based on two directions of life, a five stages model will be develop for promoting the life quality. A five stages model with life development has different focus on each stage, such as competition for survival, happiness for living, value for life, cultivation for spirit and wisdom for perfect. An empirical case study of Fo Guang University (FGU) will be described as the match with this five stages model for life education. This five stage model especially provided as a theoretical foundation for the integration among different departments, The main implications for education are the ultimate future for life development with perfect, the life quality with different focus and best practice for benchmark. |
