台中世界貿易中心軟硬體設施綠化與節能之探討

An Exploration of Taichung World Trade Center on Green and Energy-Saving Issues

台灣作為亞洲地區國際觀光重要的一環，近年來亦強烈感受到發展會展產業的重要性，主要係因會展產業的產值在台灣觀光收入中所佔的比例日益提升。一般而言，軟硬體優勝劣敗是影響會展產業發展的主要因素，而發展會展產業的基本優勢要件包括了：產業結構、地理區位、旅遊資源、基礎建設與行政效率等。在兩岸直航下，中台灣靠著海路交通優越位置，促使兩岸交流不斷提升；如何發揮區位交通、軟硬體設施與服務品質、及能源的短缺與費用的增加等都可能成為會展產業發展的重要課題。本文將以Mr. Robin Lockerman提出綠色會展的八項檢視指標中之六項，以質化為主、量化為輔的角度探討並運用、「實情調查」、「相關文獻」、「個案訪談」等方式，來探討台中世貿展覽中心對於會展的節能與綠化之成果呈現；研究結果發現未能發揮預期之效益，仍有改善空間，期提供于相關單位建議對未來策展參考之依據。

Taiwan plays one of the important roles of international tourism in Asia. The government found the increasing share of the tourism income has been gathered by the exhibition industry. Generally, the hardware facilities and software systems are the main factors affecting the development of the exhibition industry. The basic advantages of the exhibition industry includes: industrial structure, geographical location, tourism resources, infrastructure and administrative efficiency, etc. This paper adopted 6 of Lockerman's 8 indicators of the green exhibition to investigate the Taichung World Trade Exhibition Center for the outcomes of green and energy-saving issues qualitatively.
