Human resources experts choose the efficient and effective ways by adopting the style of e-learning to maintain appropriate and qualified capabilities of workforce. Therefore, employees may participate in the e-learning programs while they are still working. Employers also take advantages from this type of solution to promote workers' occupational capabilities. This paper described users' perceptions by using e-learning in persuing job-related knowledges qualitatively. Interviews were conducted to collect research data. The results of the study indicate the autonomy of the learners was highly appreciated but learners felt instant communications and interactions were lacking. Furthermore, learners who had more family considerations and job responsibilities tended to have more positive perceptions than learners who had fewer family considerations and job responsibilities. |
