雲端運算是利用「雲端科技」達到「雲端服務」的目的；其規模與彈性，因依用量收費，不需負擔程式維護，使用成本得以大幅降低，且不必承擔導入失敗的風險，使得中小企業運用雲端服務最能享受規模經濟的利益。牙體技術所是中小企業裡產業環境在快速改變的一群；社會發展使假牙與美齒業務增加、政府頒布牙體技術師及牙體技術所相關法令，希望提升牙體技術產業的品質，進一步維護民眾的健康與權益。然而，一般牙體技術所規模偏小，人力不足以應付業務的增加時，特別需要加強管理與自動化來提升工作效率，業者相繼引進生產加工自動化，利用管理軟體進行資訊自動化。如此的發展模式，需要投入大量資源，因此，如何降低成本，是為業界最關切的問題，而雲端服務正是問題的最佳解決方案。本研究在為牙體技術產業發展一套專用管理軟體，協助業者以經濟的成本藉由雲端科技取得雲端服務，期望能因此提升整體牙技產業之服務品質及客戶滿意度，共同創造更大的產業規模。

The object of Cloud Computing is using the cloud technologies to achieve needed services. The medium and small-sized enterprises (MSEs) obtain the great benefits of economic scale, because the cloud service suppliers charge by the amount of usage, and are responsible for software maintenance. Consequently, the MSEs reduce the cost of cloud service remarkably, and do not have to take the risk of fail for introducing the cloud service.The industrial environment of dental laboratory changes quickly. For instance, the government enforced a new law of dental technician and laboratory to promote the quality of product and service. However, a small dental lab can hardly handle the increasing business and need to enhance its productiveness by tightening up the management and introducing automation. Therefore, cloud service becomes the best solution for dental lab to cost down its investment.This research is to develop software for dental lab to use through cloud service.
