性別團體抗議大學學測英文的「腦內性別說」

2007年2月3日屏教大的王儷靜老師在監考大學英文學測時看到英文閱讀測驗的題目居然選擇了一段英文，其內容是從科學研究發現男女的生物性有些不同，進而推論出需要「單性教育」（single-sex education）的論點。在此先摘要首尾二段給大家「品嚐」：Twenty years ago, most experts believed that differences in how boys and girls behaved were mainly due to differences in how they were treated by their parents, teachers, and friends. It's hard to cling to that belief today. Recent research has shown that there are biological differences between boys and girls. ......Dr. Sax, a proponent of single-sex education, points out that keeping boys and girls separate in the classroom has yielded striking educational, social, and interpersonal benefits. Therefore, parents and teachers should try to recognize, understand, and make use of the biological differences that make a girl a girl, and a boy a boy.
