影響本國文字認識閾的因素

FACTORS AFFECTING RECOGNITION THRESHOLDS OF CHINESE CHARACTERS

從具有4種因子（3層次的意義度，2層次的筆劃數，2層次的組合方式和2層次的字形）組合而成的72個中文字測得認識閾。意義度的因素是受試者間的變項，其他因素則為受試者內的變項。結果發現，意義度和筆劃數對認識閾有影響，而字的相合方式和字形雖皆為中文字的特性，但其對認識閾卻沒有影響。

Reognition thresholds were obtained for 72 Chinese characters varying in four factors (3 levels of meaningfulness, 2 levels of number of strokes, 2 levels of word formation, and 2 levels of word shape) combined factorially. The factor of meaningfulness was between-Ss variables, and the other factors were within-Ss variables. It was found that the variables of meaningfulness and number of strokes were related to recognition threshold as expected. The variables of word formation and word shape, which are peculiar to Chinese characters, had no effect on recognition threshold.
