In the field of psychopathology, delusion is one of the important problems which have been discussed with hallucination and depersonalization for a long time. But the actual definition of delusion is not yet settled, because there are too many interpretations which have been made according to different theoretic point of view. Both Gruhle, and Jaspers,(5) discriminated 'true delusion' from 'delusional idea' because the true delusion is quite different from the ordinary experiment about consciousness. They asserted that the true delusion is an experiment of primitive character which can not originate in the experimental consciousness. Assuming a specific invalid process exists in the background of primitive experiment, they considered that the true delusion is directive expression of the invalid process. Gruhle(5) stated expressly that the true delusion is a directive symptom of organic brain disorder. |
