The modern cutting technology is gradually moving towards the direction of developing high-speed and miniaturized processing. The application of cutting fluids for cooling and lubricating tools and workpieces is an advantage. However, when the cutting agent is used, the cutting and the cutting tools themselves can easily cause scum sedimentation of the blade edge (formally called BUE, build-up-edge) and quick signs of wear, these eventually result in reduced tool life and the surface of the machined surface will get rougher. Therefore, we can apply vortex tube for cooling, coupled with a small amount of oil mixed with water to achieve low-temperature auxiliary cutting, thereby increasing the life of the cutting tool and the accuracy of the surface of workpieces, this can achieve the benefits of green manufacturing and energy saving. The development of this research is mainly for the function of the vortex tube adjustment mechanism - the proportion of oil to water can be adjusted, and the fuzzy regression analysis method is used for estimation. When it is applied in the future, the temperature of the cutting nozzle can be known and can be used to correctly adjust the cutting parameters as well as the proportion of oil to water in the vortex tube. From the experimental results, it is known that the greater the pressure and the closer to the machined part, the greater the temperature difference of the machined part will be impacted, when the pressure P = 1 kg/cm2 , the cooling is 1.73°C, and when the pressure P = 5 kg/cm2 , the cooling is 7.46°C. |
