Sixty-nine clusters were reported during week 24, including 12 tuberculosis clusters, 13 diarrhea clusters, 10 upper respiratory tract infection clusters, 27 influenza-like illness clusters, and 7 varicella clusters. Imported Infectious Diseases There were 18 imported cases from 9 countries during week 24 of 2019. There are 382 imported cases from 22 different countries in 2019. The top 3 countries are Indonesia (141), Vietnam (51), and Philippines (47). Top 3 imported diseases are Dengue Fever (177), Amoebiasis (75), and Measles (36). Summary of Epidemic Enterovirus: Taiwan is in the midst of enterovirus season. In addition, EV71 activity is increasing in the community. Dengue Fever: As the rainfall increases and there has one indigenous dengue cluster in Southern Taiwan, the risk of dengue fever is expected to raise.
