提升護理人員發展遲緩高風險個案之通報率

Increased Notification Rate for Highrisk Cases of Developmental Delay by the Nursing Staf

就發展遲緩兒童來說，早期發現並給予協助可以使其發展趨近正常及減輕未來障礙的程度。本單位於2017年1月家屬質疑遲緩問題未被及早發現揚言申訴，後續調查發現2016年第三季通報率僅17.5%引發動機成立本專案。目的在提升護理人員發展遲緩高風險個案之通報率，執行期間自2017年3月至2017年9月，現況分析後發現未建構完善之發展遲緩高風險個案通報流程與相關教育訓練不足，藉由修訂發展遲緩高風險個案通報流程及健康發展追蹤紀錄表，並將相關課程列入繼續教育課程中等策略。專案改善後，發展遲緩高風險個案通報率提高至86.5%、篩選執行率提升至89%、護理人員對現有通報流程認知正確率提升至95.6%。 For children with developmental delay, early detection and assistance can render their development closer to normal and reduce the extent and severity of disability. In January 2017, at our care unit, a patient's family questioned about the delay in detection of developmental delay and was nearly to complain to our care unit. Later, the follow-up investigations found that the notification rate of developmental delay in the third quarter of 2016 was only 17.5%, which led to the establishment of the project. The objective was to improve the notification rate of highrisk cases of developmental delay by the nursing staff. The implementation period was from March 2017 to September 2017. The analysis of the current situation revealed that the high-risk case notification process has not yet been well-established and related education and training were insufficient and the solution is to revise the high-risk developmental delay case notification process and health development tracking record, and include the relevant courses in the continuing education curriculum. After the improvement of the project, the high-risk developmental delay case notification increased to 86.5%, the screening rate increased to 89%, and the correct rate of awareness of the existing notification process by nursing staff increased to 95.6%..
