Sixty-nine clusters were reported during week 22, including 8 tuberculosis clusters, 7 diarrhea clusters, 24 upper respiratory tract infection clusters, 24 influenza-like illness clusters, 1 fever of unknown origin cluster, 2 varicella clusters, and 3 enterovirus clusters.There were 16 imported cases from 7 countries during week 22 of 2019.There are 347 imported cases from 20 different countries in 2019. The top 3 countries are Indonesia (130), Vietnam (48), and Philippines (43).Top 3 imported diseases are Dengue Fever (163), Amoebiasis (66), and Measles (33).Enterovirus: Taiwan is in the midst of enterovirus season. In addition, EV71 activity is increasing in the community.Dengue Fever: As the rainfall increases and there has one indigenous dengue cluster in Southern Taiwan, the risk of dengue fever is expected to raise.Measles:Epidemics in neighboring countries continue to occur. Therefore, sporadic cases are expected to increase in Taiwan. |
