本文爬梳近代客家音樂研究的發展,以臺灣在地的客家音樂論述為主要探討對象,兼論鄰近地區的客家音樂書寫,分析不同時期的客家音樂研究取徑以及晚近的發展,藉此脈絡化本專輯所收錄四篇專文的特色,及其對於現階段客家音樂研究的重要性。本文首先說明文獻回顧的範疇,繼而指出客家音樂的研究至少可以溯及19世紀後半西方傳教士與漢人對於「客家」民歌的採集與描述。爾後,筆者探討清末與日治時期臺灣漢文與日文書寫對於「客人」戲歌的刻畫,並且整理二戰過後臺灣論者對於「客家」音樂的研究成果,分析不同階段的焦點與研究取徑。接著,筆者從晚近學者所指出的客家研究典範移轉出發,進而指出晚近客家音樂研究尚未充分探究的議題面向。本文最後引介本專輯收錄文章,說明其如何補充既有的客家音樂學術成果。
This article reviews the studies of Taiwan Hakka music in the past century. I focused on local writings on Hakka music, but I also examined publications in relation to the music from neighboring regions that had shaped the perspectives of Taiwanese writers. I analyzed the evolution of research foci. In addition, I discussed the “paradigm shifts” in Hakka Studies proposed by recent studies, arguing that the new foci in Hakka Studies may benefit the studies of Hakka music. Finally, I discussed the significance of the four articles presented by this special issue, highlighting their contribution to existing literature. |
