以tocilizumab治療修格蘭氏症併惡病質──病例報告

Tocilizumab as treatment of Sjögren’s syndrome-associated cachexia--a case report

We present the case of a 74-year-old Taiwanese woman with Sjögren’s syndrome-associated cachexiawho was successfully treated with tocilizumab. She initially presented with profound weight loss andextreme anorexia. Laboratory tests revealed elevated inflammation markers. A gallium scan showed activeinflammation of the salivary and lacrimal glands. Treatment with tocilizumab resulted in resolution ofanorexia, body weight gain, and normalization of inflammation markers. We suggest that tocilizumab maybe a reliable treatment choice for Sjögren’s syndrome-associated cachexia. 我們報告一個以tocilizumab成功治療修格蘭氏症併惡病質的案例。病患為74歲台灣女性，初始以極度食慾下降併體重減輕來表現。實驗室檢查顯示發炎指標升高，鎵-67發炎掃描顯示唾液腺及淚腺活動性發炎。以tocilizumab治療後，食慾、體重及發炎指標皆改善。我們認為tocilizumab可以應用在修格蘭氏症併惡病質的治療。
